These Terms & Conditions govern your use of sewi.fyi and shop.sewi.fyi (together, “SEWI”, “we”, “us”) and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. Products
SEWI sells digital products (downloadable PDF sewing patterns, garment bundles and a monthly membership) and physical products (printed paper patterns, material kits and sewing tools).
A garment bundle is a one-time purchase of one garment’s full video course together with the digital files of its pattern. It is not a subscription: the course stays available in your account and does not expire, and the pattern files can be downloaded again at any time.
Digital products are ordered and delivered through shop.sewi.fyi. Physical products are ordered through sewi.fyi and shipped from Nanjing, China as described in our Shipping Policy.
2. Accounts
You need an account to access courses and downloads. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Course access and downloads are for the account holder’s personal use only and may not be shared, resold or redistributed.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency of the region you select (NT$, RM or US$) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. They do not include import duties or taxes charged by the destination country on physical products, which are paid by the recipient (see our Shipping Policy). Shipping fees for physical products are shown at checkout before you pay.
Payment is taken by card at checkout. Your order is confirmed once payment is authorised. We may cancel and fully refund an order if a product is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred.
If you have already bought a garment’s pattern (PDF or paper), the PDF price of that pattern is credited when you buy the garment’s bundle. Buying two garment bundles in one order takes 10% off the bundles, and three or more takes 15% off. Credits and discounts are shown in the cart and at checkout before you pay.
4. Membership
Membership is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time online at https://shop.sewi.fyi/membership/cancel; access continues until the end of the period already paid for, and no further charges are made. Full details are in our Subscription Terms.
5. Delivery, returns and refunds
Delivery, returns and refunds are governed by our Shipping Policy and Return Policy, which form part of these terms.
6. Intellectual property
All courses, patterns, images, text and other content on SEWI are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. See our Intellectual Property Rights page.
7. Liability
We take care to make our instructions and patterns accurate, but sewing results depend on materials, tools and technique. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you place an order applies to that order. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@sewi.fyi.
